For applications were your source power is DC, including solar installs, this mini heat pump offers the highest efficiency possible, often exceeding an EER of 16. This converts to SEER ratings over 30. The unit operates in both cooling and heating modes, offering you 7000 BTU/h cooling capacity and 8000 BTU/h heating capacity in a miniature format for only 350 watts power used. The low pressure, non-flammable R134a refrigerant is already prefilled in the outdoor unit; all you need to do is connect the hoses, evacuate the lines, and release the gas.

We recommend you pair this air conditioner with a 13.4 kWh battery which can run it for 56 hours on a full charge.

We recommend using the Victron Battery Protect module to set the desired off voltage for the unit, and it will safely turn off the air conditioner when the battery gets low. That way your air conditioner can shut off but you will have enough reserve for your critical appliances (e.g., your inverter with electronics, lights, AC fans etc) to continue running until the next morning.
